What is Top Dressing?

Top dressing is an application of a thin layer of compost or pulverized top soil over the entire lawn.  The process of top dressing is often done after aerifying our lawn.  By doing this after aerification, you allow the compost or pulverized top soil to reach the root systems of your lawn.  This allows the grass to realize the full benefits of top dressing.
